MONROE - During a meeting Tuesday, the City of Monroe Claims Committee:
• Discussed with City Attorney Rex Ewald and recommend to council to deny a claim from Menards, Inc., requesting a refund of about $30,000 on cost reimbursements charged by the city for "excess project costs." Ewald told the committee the reimbursements were incurred in good faith and were "necessary charges" under the cost reimbursement agreement with the company.
