MONROE - Winners for the scarecrow contest, salsa contest and chili contest held Saturday during the 17th Annual Chili Cook-off were:
• Scarecrow contest - Shakespeare on the Edge, first place; Green Door, second place.
• Salsa contest - Pick 'N Save, first; Bocktober Festers, second; and Monroe Middle School, third.
• Chili winners were Citation Corp. for showmanship; Wisconsin Community Bank for non-traditional chili; Crossroads Chili for traditional chili; and Ronnie's Chili and Last Minute Chili tied for the people's choice award.
