MONROE - The Green County Cheese Days Store will be open with regularly scheduled hours beginning Tuesday. The store is located in the basement of the Historic Green County Courthouse.
Hours through July are from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Friday. Beginning in August, hours will be added to include from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays. The store will also be open from 6 to 8 p.m. during Main Street Monroe's Concerts on the Square on June 19 and June 27. To make arrangements to shop other days or evenings, call 608-325-7771.
The store carries a variety of merchandise including limited edition steins, wooden cheese boxes, caps, accessories and a variety of apparel for all sizes and ages. Also available for sale are 100th anniversary collectible toy trucks, and a special collector tractor (Oliver 1900 Diesel) can be pre-ordered for September delivery.
