No one was injured Tuesday afternoon when a 2006 Chevy HHR driven by Joyce E. Austin, 75, Monroe, ran into the eastern side of one of the buildings at St. Vincent de Paul, 501 First Ave., Monroe.
Police Chief Fred Kelley said information reports indicate Austin was pulling up to the building to park when she hit the accelerator instead of the brake.
There was moderate damage done to the car, and the building suffered damage to its metal siding and some insulation.
