What are the top issues facing this district/municipality and how would you work to resolve them?

Some of the things that I see that are not issues but to continue to make sure that the children in the school district receive the best possible education that the district can offer. Continuing to embrace technology to use in the classroom will provide students more opportunities to learn. Also through the continued college courses that the district is able to offer to students that will better prepare them for college and in life.

Another issue that I find to be important is keeping the great teachers that we currently have. These great teachers can help our children to continue to achieve at a high level, and can help the students to achieve their own goals.

Why are you the best candidate for this office?

I believe that I am the best candidate for school board in that I have the experience of currently being on school board in the understanding of what is currently going on with the education of the students in the Monticello school district. Also I understand the importance of education for our students in our district because a great education can open many doors for students in the future, and to provide a learning environment that fits each and every student needs.
