What are the top issues facing this district/municipality and how would you work to resolve it?

Maintaining and improving Township roads. With reduced state aids, increasing labor and material costs, heavier commercial and agricultural traffic and increases in commuter traffic, it is critical that the increasingly limited funds available for roads is used in a prudent and responsible manner. This issue not only demands maintaining the integrity of the roads, but also snow removal, brush cutting, maintaining and improving signage and investment in the equipment needed to accomplish these ongoing issues.

What are other key issues facing the district/municipality, and how would you work to resolve them?

Understanding that as a Town Board member we are charged with being good stewards of the tax dollars available. Ongoing challenges include the funding for essential government such as fire and EMS protection, acquiring the maximum county and state highway aids and maintaining current machinery, building and reassessment accounts. The continuation to fund the library and recycling center as appropriate and continue to work towards such goals as local high speed internet and improved public safety.
