What are the top issues facing this district/municipality and how would you work to resolve it?
Rural schools face many challenges, from working to provide programs to keep our local families in our schools, to dealing with budget gaps for different needs within the districts. I will work with our community and teachers as a resource to fill those gaps.
What are other key issues facing the district/municipality, and how would you work to resolve them?
Looking at today's political landscape, and the issues that education is facing, it is key that the districts support system, such as the administration and the school board work to keep education as the community's top priority for our children. Changes at the federal level may have a real impact on our rural schools. I have a personal investment in the schools, with my children a part of this district for many more years to come, and with that, I share a commitment to working with Pecatonica and supporting the needs of the school for the future.
