What are the top issues facing this district/municipality and how would you work to resolve it?

The biggest issue is always how to fulfill all the state mandates that DPI gives us while at the same time they continue to reduce funding. This is a problem for all rural schools.

What are other key issues facing the district/municipality, and how would you work to resolve them?

Other challenges we face are open enrollment, and the increasing cost of insurance due to the federal healthcare law. We continue to watch the budget closely and make the best decisions under the circumstances.

Why are you the best candidate for this office?

I have 12 years of experience on this board and a good working relationship with all parties involved.
