There are three open spots on the Monticello Village Board, but only two candidates will be on the April 3 ballot: newcomers Leaora Miller and Julia Marty. April Fuhr is running as a write-in candidate.

What are the top issues facing this district/municipality and how would you work to resolve it?
One of the top issues is the referendum. I would like to help by helping our board in problem solving and trying to find solutions towards current financial projects such as possibly helping to find grants to help fund some of these projects.
What are other key issues facing the district/ municipality, and how would u work to resolve them?
Another key issue is our sewer plant needs to be updated. Although the board has already started to get the ball rolling i would like help with seeing which is the best chocie for the upgrade and help do somemore research as to what will be the best for our commumity.
