What are the top issues facing this district/municipality and how would you work to resolve them?

Of course, budgets always top the list. Keeping our taxes low, and still being able to keep our local services. We are working on expanding and improving our Industrial/Business Park, and festival area. And have been creating our Pearl Island Recreational Area, with the help of a DNR grant, and much volunteer help.

What are other key issues facing the district/municipality, and how would you work to resolve them?

Our council and committees continue to work on many projects to benefit the city and its residents. We are in the process of hiring a new clerk/treasurer and chief of police.
