What is the top issues facing this district and how would you work to resolve it?

Jobs and education - we have identified a skills gap that exists - I am working with Blackhawk Tech and businesses to promote a manufacturing technology program that will get people the skills they need to qualify for existing jobs. I look forward to continuing this process in the next session.

What are other key issues facing the district, and how would you work to resolve them?

Veterans issues - we will have a lot of returning vets who will need jobs, healthcare and education opportunities. We need to be prepared to handle these returning vets.

Health care - setting up Insurance Exchange to accommodate the Affordable Care Acts; making sure everyone has health coverage.

Why are you the best candidate for this office?

I have broad experience in municipal government, small business, finance and working with my constituents. I have always had an open-door policy and will continue that if re-elected. I started building relations with my colleagues during the past session and look forward to continuing to work with them the next two years.
