What are the top issues facing this district/municipality and how would you work to resolve it?

The top issue facing our municipality is the budget constraints imposed by the State. The extremely tight budget makes it very difficult to maintain our streets and to keep our Village safe.

We also continue to work on our utilities to keep our infrastructure up to date and, at the same time, trying to maintain affordable water/sanitation rates.

We continue to try to find ways to save money and, at the same time, maintain quality services to our residents. I have been involved in this process for many years and have worked hard to keep our Village one that we can be proud of.

Why are you the best candidate for this office?

I believe I am the best candidate for this office because of my experience. I have been on the Village Board for over 30 years, have served on every committee at one time or another. I have attended many conferences to help me better understand the workings of municipal government and I am ready and willing to serve the people of the Village of Albany. My goal is, and has always been, to keep our Village a great place to live.
