What are the top issues facing this board/council and how would you resolve them?
We have issues which range from increasing storage space for the highway department to keeping two county owned and operated health care facilities in viable financial condition. In between, we have a 100-year-old courthouse which needs constant upkeep and repair. Several departments, which provide needed services, are in need of upgrades and modernization. I am sure if and when any of these issues are resolved, others will be more than willing to present themselves.
