What are the top issues facing this district/municipality and how would you work to resolve it?
The Browntown Village Board has very little authority to do anything. All important issues are made by the State, up in Madison. Mandate's from the State dictate what the Village of Browntown Must do and what it can't do. Our hands are tied and there is nothing we can do about it.
What are other key issues facing the district/municipality, and how would you work to resolve them?
Browntown collects it's property taxes from it's residents. The School District takes around one half of the property taxes collected. The tax money that is left, is used to comply with the projects mandated by the State. Again, our hands are tied and there is nothing we can do about it.
