What are the top issues facing this district/municipality and how would you work to resolve it?
Open enrollment. A lot of families that open enroll their child/children to a neighboring district have never been to Albany Schools. We need to let families know Albany is "the little engine that could". We have an excellent, caring staff. We want to build relationships early with your family so your child and our district grow together. We have small teacher to student ratios which is not always found in other districts. Albany Schools offers many programs that prepare your child for life. Stop by Albany Schools and see how the "Pearl of the Sugar River" can help your child shine!!!
What are other key issues facing the district/municipality, and how would you work to resolve them?
Referendum - Albany School District is working towards asking for a capital referendum this fall. We need to update some roofs, security measures, and other areas so we may continue to offer the best education experience we can to the students and their families. Support your Comets and watch your child soar into the future!!!
