MONROE - Green County Cheese Days will be offering an area for commercial vendors to sell items or promote their businesses at tables or booths during the festival planned for Friday, Sept. 19 through Sunday, Sept. 21.

Booths are adjacent to the festival grounds, in the Monroe Library parking lot, and can be reserved for $175 per space or $100 per space for nonprofit organizations with proof of nonprofit status.

Booth size is about 12-feet wide by 10-feet deep. All booths are on asphalt with no electricity available. Booths will be available from 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19 through 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21. There are two time options for set-up - after 6 p.m. Friday or before 9 a.m. Saturday. No vendor vehicles can be on the lot after 9 a.m. Saturday. All materials must be removed by 7 p.m. Sunday.

Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Vendors are responsible for their own tables, chairs, canopies/tents and weights. There is no drilling allowed.

Types of businesses and vendors that will be accepted include: independent distributors like Avon, Tupperware and Shaklee; flea market/resale; antique dealers; jewelry and accessories; service businesses like home improvements and insurance; and any business or organization wishing to promote their products or services. The following items are not allowed: no clothing promoting the festival, no hand-crafted items, no arts and crafts, no farmer's market items, and no garden produce. Cheese Days already sells these items or offers other spaces for those categories. For more information on the farmer's market, contact the Monroe Chamber. For more information on the arts and crafts show, contact the Cheese Days office.

Food and beverage stands are not allowed in the commercial vendor lot with exceptions including recipe ingredients or pre-packaged food items to be consumed at a later time like dip mixes, dried fruits in packages to go, jerky shrink-wrapped in packs, energy drinks or health supplements in cans or bottles or roasted nuts in packages to go.

Applications are available on the "Vendors" tab at cheesedays.com or at the Cheese Days office. Applications are subject to the final approval of the Cheese Days executive board. Booth rental fee is required at the time of application. Booth assignments will be processed in the order that they are received. A vendor locator map will be provided about two weeks prior to the show.
