MONROE - Darren Pipp, MD, Monroe, and Jim Berberet, Freeport, have joined the Monroe Clinic's board of directors. Pipp and Berberet are appointed to four-year terms.
Pipp joined Monroe Clinic's medical staff in 1999 and serves as the emergency department medical director. Previously, he served as chief of the medical staff, a position he was elected to by his peers.
Berberet serves as executive director of the Highland Community College Foundation, having retired as president and chief operating officer of Freeport's Ultrasonic Power Corporation in 2011.
Other board changes include the departure of Tony Rogerson, MD, FACS, Monroe Clinic otorhinolaryngologist, and Jim Lee, Freeport.
Elected officers for 2013-14 include: William Oemichen, chairman; Christine Wellington, vice-chairman; Mike Greenfield, treasurer; and John Frey, M.D., secretary.
