MONROE - The Kittelsen, Barry, Wellington, Thompson and Schluesche Law Firm announced the hiring of Amanda Montgomery, Monroe, as an associate attorney. She will be initially engaged in family law, real estate and estate planning.
Montgomery graduated from Creighton University Law School. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she graduated with a double major in political science and economics.
Prior to joining the law firm, Montgomery served a judicial intern with the Green County Circuit Court and worked with the Douglas County Pre-trial Release Program, working with inmates.
Montgomery received awards in the Creighton Law School Negotiations and Client Counseling Competitions in 2012. She also received the CALI Award for Excellent Achievement in the study of elder law.
