MONROE - Colony Brands announced the promotion of Mary Babb-Richardson to a senior project leader position in the Systems and Programming department.

Babb-Richardson began her career at Colony Brands, under the SC Data Center division in 1987. In the early 1990s, she helped develop the current accounts receivable credit system. She has been a project leader since 1998, responsible for Lawson Human Resources/Payroll and Kronos timekeeping systems. Babb-Richardson took over the leadership role for the manufacturing group in 2011. Over the past few years Babb-Richardson and her team have been responsible for the Datex and High Jump Warehouse Master System interfaces to the inventory system, handled interfaces to the new Ultimate Payroll system, facilitated backorder enhancements to support real-time inventory and successfully implemented a new release of Kronos in July.

Babb-Richardson resides in the country near Durand, Ill., with her husband, Dan. She has three grown children, Marcy, Forrest and Kary.
