MONROE - The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Bank branches announced the promotion of Sharon Wedig to branch manager at Sugar River Bank in Monroe. Wedig is leaving the lending side of the organization to join the deposit side. In her new role, she will oversee deposits and day-to-day branch business functions.
Before joining the team at The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Bank branches in January 2006, Wedig acted as branch manager for First Banking Center. Wedig was hired as a lender for Sugar River Bank-Monroe, but also worked as a teller as needed. Her banking experience includes bookkeeping, customer service, lending and personal banking.
