NEW GLARUS - The Bank of New Glarus and the Sugar River Bank Branches announced the hiring of Patrick Hereley as its new commercial lender.
In his new role, Hereley will assist current customers with ongoing credit and banking needs, in addition to creating and maintaining new relationships for the banks.
Hereley has 11 years of banking experience, having worked at Oak Bank in Fitchburg as a personal banker, personal banking supervisor, and business and private banking officer, and as a personal banker at Amcore Bank. He has a degree in business administration from Beloit College.
Hereley is a member of the Wisconsin Bankers Association Retail Banking Section Board, an ambassador for the Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce and a fundraising partner with Easter Seals of Wisconsin.
Hereley is dividing his time between the Sugar River Bank branches in Monroe and Belleville and will eventually work permanently at the Bank of New Glarus highway branch.
