BRODHEAD — Police have solved a retail theft after the public was asked to come forward with information.

The incident happened in the early evening on Feb. 4. Surveillance video showed at least two suspects wandering the aisles in the store and a related, white SUV in a dark parking lot.

Those with information were urged to contact Brodhead Police, who later advised the crime had been solved. A number of area departments post crime information to social meeting seeking tips from the public, often including images of suspects and videos.

The public can submit tips about crime through crime stoppers at 1-800 422-7463; or through the P3 tips mobile app, which can be downloaded at Google Play and through the Apple Store.
