BRODHEAD - The Brodhead Common Council awarded $10,000 to the Senior/Community Center for planning, following a Feb. 17 report from the committee chairwoman and alderwoman Beth Rosheisen. Rosheisen requested funding to find out what the difference is for the city if it invests the money into an existing building or building a new facility. There is a possibility of a $500,000 grant in the future for either a new building, or renovating an existing building.
