BRODHEAD - The name of a Brodhead man who was injured when a tire flew off a semi truck and hit his minivan Monday is not being released by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department.

The sheriff's department said deputies haven't completed their reports as of this morning. Until the reports are finished the driver's name will not be released.

The Brodhead man was injured Monday morning as he drove along Interstate 94 near Springdale Road in Waukesha County, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Reports said a tanker truck carrying more than 8,000 gallons of gasoline lost two tires as it traveled down the road. One of the tires ended up on the side of the road. The other tire went across the median and hit the minivan, which sent glass into the driver's face.

He was treated and released at a nearby hospital. His three passengers, also from Brodhead, were not injured.
