MONROE - A Brodhead man has been cited for several traffic infractions in the crash Tuesday, June 12, that killed 52-year-old Donald E. Ormond, Monroe.

Hipolito Roque Pascual, 44, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way while making a left turn, driving without vehicle insurance and driving without a valid license (second offense).

According to the Green County Sheriff's Department, Roque Pascual was driving a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville westbound on Wisconsin 11 when he turned southbound onto County G in front of Ormond, who was driving a 1982 Kawasaki motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the rear passenger side of the car, and Ormond was ejected.

Charlotte J. Walters, 70, Milton, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban eastbound on Wis. 11 when she struck Ormond and the motorcycle, causing the motorcycle to catch fire and killing Ormond.

Ormond was pronounced dead at the scene by the Green County coroner. No other injuries were reported.

Roque Pascual has a court date scheduled for Monday, July 16.
