TOWN OF SPRING VALLEY — Rock County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau on Sept. 8 made an arrest on an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation. 

As a result of the investigation, James Lloyd Cobleigh 70, Brodhead, was taken into custody.

The ICAC investigation was into the Possession of Child Pornography and Possession of Virtual Child Pornography occurring in the 3000 block of County T, just outside of Brodhead in the Town of Spring Valley, Rock County. A search warrant was previously executed at the address on August 28, by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, where multiple digital devices were seized by detectives. The devices were later examined by detectives and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) was located.

Cobleigh 70, face charges of:

●  10 Counts — Possession of Child Pornography

●  2 Counts — Possession of Virtual Child Pornography

Cobleigh has no prior criminal history in Wisconsin, according to court records.

Cobleigh was to make his initial appearance in Rock County Jail Court on Sept. 9, at 3 p.m.
