BREAKING NEWS: Departments called to fire south of Albany

ALBANY - Numerous fire departments and emergency personnel were called to the scene of a structure fire at W1210 Decatur-Albany Road south of Albany at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Fire departments from Albany, Brodhead, Juda, Footville and Orfordville were called, along with Albany EMS. The Green County Emergency Services' mobile command unit also was requested and the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS) was utilized.

Decatur-Albany Road was closed at County F and at County E shortly after the fire call. A staging area for emergency personnel was set up at Atkinson Road and County E.
