MONROE — According to Monroe Police Chief Fred Kelley, at 8:45 a.m on August 1, officers and detectives with the Monroe Police Department executed a search warrant at a Monroe residence in the 1900 block of 11th Street. As a result of the warrant and after a month’s long investigation, Shane R. Rogers, 51, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of Possession of Child Pornography.
The investigation began in February 2025 and was conducted by Monroe Police Detectives as part of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. Detectives were assisted by the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Digital Forensic Unit.
Rogers was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
