Breakfast back for 33rd year

DARLINGTON - The 33rd Annual Lafayette County Dairy Breakfast is serving from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, rain or shine.

The main entree is scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, dressed with a side of sausage links, cheese and donuts. Breakfast-goers can choose from milk, coffee or juice to drink.

Music by Gambler will fill the air, while attendees peruse antique tractors on display, or shop the booths at the craft fair.

Kids will find a Children's Corner, petting zoo; and can enter to compete in the Pedal Tractor Pull.

The Lafayette County Health Department wil be on site giving free tetanus shots.

Lafayette County Land Conservation Awards also will be presented.

Lafayette County Dairy Promotions, which is hosting the event, is expecting to feed about 2,500 people Saturday morning at the Highway Department, 120126 Hill Street, off County Shop Road, in Darlington, Gratz said.

Tickets can be purchased at the breakfast. Adult tickets are $4; tickets for children under 12 are $2; preschool children eat for free. Parking is free.
