MONROE - A child was transported to University of Wisconsin Hospital Monday afternoon after a bike vs. vehicle collision in Monroe.
Daymein D. King, 10, Monroe, reportedly rode his bike into the side of the vehicle of Danny L. Stilson, 48, Monroe, at the intersection of 11th Street and 21st Avenue. Stilson was eastbound on 11th Street.
Monroe Police Chief Fred Kelley said that King sustained minor injuries and was transported to UW Madison Hospital by ambulance for observation.
UW Madison Hospital had no report on King's condition Tuesday afternoon.
Kelley also said Stilson's vehicle sustained minor damage, while King's bicycle sustained severe damage.
