Black Hawk grad wins University of Minnesota award

EDINA, Minn. - Penny Trumpy-Kodrich, retiring Student Support Services Director for Edina Public Schools, a school district in suburban Minneapolis, has been presented the Distinguished Alumni Award by the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota. The award recognizes her dedication to youth, families, community and administrative leadership in special education and student support services for students. The award was created by the college four years ago to honor alumni who have distinguished themselves in their careers and communities.
