Benefit to be held for boy diagnosed with Wilms tumor

HOLLANDALE - A benefit for Jaden Goninen will be held at Country Side Lanes, 1255 County F on Friday, Dec. 7 and Saturday, Dec. 8.

Kid's night is from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7. There is open bowling and games. Games are $10 per person. Parents get in free.

A bowling tournament will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8. An eight-pin tap is $100 for a five-person team. Bowling shifts are at 10:30 a.m., and at 1, 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. There will be raffles and prizes at the event. An auction will start at 6 p.m., as well as silent auction items available throughout the day.

Jaden is a 9-year-old from Blanchardville and a fourth-grader at Pecatonica Elementary School. He was diagnosed with a Stage 4 Wilms tumor, a cancer of the kidney which spread to his lungs.
