Belmont man arrested for fifth OWI Monday

VILLAGE OF BELMONT - A Belmont man was arrested for a fifth offense of operating while intoxicated, a class H felony, at 4:56 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7. Daniel D. Gardner, 56, was also arrested for speeding, failing to stop at a stop sign and having open intoxicants. A Lafayette County Deputy responded to West Moundview Avenue, Village of Belmont, to assist the Wisconsin State Patrol.
