The School District of Belleville is inviting community members to help shape the future of its schools. On Wednesday, Jan. 28, and Tuesday, Feb. 3, residents are encouraged to share their perspectives on what will make Belleville schools the best they can be — for the students, the village, and the wider world.
On both evenings, a community driven facilitation team will lead small group discussions from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Belleville High School gymnasium. Registration, food and childcare will be available starting at 5:15 p.m.
The district hopes to gather input from a wide cross section of the community, including students, parents, grandparents, senior citizens, and those who care about the future of Belleville’s schools. Because each evening builds on the conversations from the last, participants are encouraged to attend both sessions.
