Barn, cows lost in Argyle fire

ARGYLE - Argyle firefighters responded to a barn fire at about 3 a.m. Wednesday at W8772 Meadow Brook Road in Adams township.

Fire Chief Randy Martin said the one-story structure was a total loss. About 60 milk cows were lost in the fire, he added. Firefighters were on the scene for about three hours.

The New Glarus and Blanchardville Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
