DARLINGTON — The Bank of New Glarus (BNG), a leading community bank headquartered in New Glarus, recently announced the successful acquisition of First National Bank at Darlington. This strategic step represents a significant milestone for both organizations and reinforces BNG’s commitment to growth and excellence in the banking industry, the company said in a press release.
“Combined, our bank has offered more than 220 years of serving customers across Green, Dane and Lafayette counties,” the press release added.

The definitive agreement was approved by the Boards of Directors of both The Bank of New Glarus and First National Bank at Darlington, and the contract closed Friday, May 31, 2024, following regulatory approval.
