MONTICELLO - The Badger State Archaeological Society will hold its 27th Annual Native American Indian artifact show at Monticello school, 334 S. Main Street, on Oct. 24.
This year's show, which runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., includes a special display from the late Ralph Hammerly collection, courtesy of Jeff Anderson. Hammerly is a former resident of Monticello. In addition, the show will feature more than 80 tables of artifacts, including stone arrowheads, books and pottery.
Monticello fourth-graders also will present their prehistoric Native American villages.
Awards will be given in several categories, and experts will be available to identify artifacts. Admission is $2 for those 14 and older.
