Art and 'experiences' featured in MAC auction

A fine art live auction, a silent auction and entertainment by the Jodi Beach Trio of Rockford will complement the five-course, served dinner created by Chef Sarah Jarrett of Laughing Trout at Monroe Arts Center's upcoming A Taste of Spring fundraising event. MONROE - In addition to a five-course dinner created by Chef Sarah Jarrett of Laughing Trout in Monroe, the Monroe Arts Center's "A Taste of Spring" fundraising event May 4 at the Ludlow Mansion will also include a fine art live auction, a silent auction, and live musical entertainment. Art and "experiences" will be part of the live auction. The live auction art items include original oil and acrylic paintings by artists Jonathan Wilde, Deborah Meyer, Derek Hambly, and Tina Duemler; a functional metal sculpture co-created by Robert Bergman and Chuck Wellington; and a hand-forged metal cartouche table by Nana Schowalter.
