Fundraiser to help with church repairs

ALBANY - The Board of Directors of the Gap Church Museum, Inc. and Cemetery Association will host a rummage/garage/plant sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 16 at the church/cemetery, W2401 Wisconsin 59 West.

The roof of the community hall will be replaced this summer because of funds raised in the last two years, and the roof of the church needs to be replaced next year to avoid leaks that would ruin the newly plastered walls and ceiling. Money raised from this year's sale will help cover the costs needed for repairs.

Donations of items are accepted and are tax deductible. However, no clothing or electronics will be accepted. An open house will be held in conjunction with the event.

For more information, contact Craig Roth at (608) 862-4334 or Jane Copus at (608) 214-8289 or jcopus1@frontier.com.
