Area cheesemakers earn awards in state fair contest

WEST ALLIS - The 2014 Wisconsin State Fair Cheese and Butter Contest results were announced. The competition took place June 26 at the Wisconsin State Fair Park. There were 26 classes that were evaluated.

The 2014 Grand Master Cheesemaker, along with other winning cheesemakers, were recognized during the Blue Ribbon Cheese and Butter Auction on Aug. 8 at Wisconsin State Fair Park.

Area winners include:
