BROOKLYN — An anonymous report of an underage party at a residence on County E led to the arrest of three people Saturday.

Green County Sheriff Mark Rohloff said deputies responded to the call around 11:30 p.m. in the N8400 block of County E in the Town of Brooklyn.

When officers first arrived at the residence, they encountered Austin James Bates, 20, Juda, in his vehicle as he attempted to leave. Bates was arrested on a probation violation stemming from a 2016 case in which Bates was found guilty of 4th degree sexual assault and battery. He was also cited for first offense underage alcohol consumption and placed in the Green County Jail.

His passenger, Charlayna R. De Voe, 19, Monroe, was also cited for underage alcohol consumption, first offense. De Voe was released pending an appearance in Green County court.

As deputies approached a large crowd near the residence, Rohloff said they apprehended Jacob A. Riley, 21, Argyle. Riley was arrested for bail jumping related to a case in early March when he was charged with a Class I felony count of fleeing from an officer.

Riley pleaded not guilty to the charge May 25 and posted a signature bond July 31. Part of the conditions of the bond included he not consume any intoxicants.

Following his arrest, Riley made an initial appearance Monday in Green County Circuit Court via video from the jail. Green County Court Judge Thomas Vale set a $2,000 signature bond.
