FREEPORT — On June 29, the Stephenson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyler Mocker, 36 of German Valley, on child sexual assault charges following an ongoing investigation. Mocker was taken into custody at the Stephenson County Courthouse by sheriff’s deputies.

Mocker is charged with Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse (3 counts), a Class 2 felony, Traveling to meet a Child, a class 3 felony, Soliciting Child Pornography, a class 1 felony, and Possession of Child Pornography (9 counts), a Class 2 felony. Mocker was transported to the Stephenson County Jail where he was processed and released on a $150,000 bond at 10%.

The Stephenson County Sheriff’s Department reminds the public that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
