ALBANY - An Albany man with five drunk driving convictions was arrested again on the same charge Sunday.
Kevin Donald Beckwith, 38, faces a Class H felony charge of sixth-offense operating while intoxicated, punishable by up to three years in prison and three years on extended supervision.
Beckwith was arrested at his home after Albany police followed up on a citizen complaint of reckless driving. His red pickup truck was reportedly traveling on the wrong side of the road and nearly struck a mailbox.
At his initial appearance Monday in Green County Circuit Court, his signature bond was set at $2,500 with conditions that he not drink or go into bars or liquor stores, except for his job at Headquarters Bar in Oregon.
Beckwith has OWI convictions from April 1997, June 2002, January and October 2004 and July 2009.
He was sentenced to six months in the Dane County Jail and fined $1,256 for his most recent conviction, court records indicate.
