• The Monroe Main Street Board of Directors will meet at 5:15 p.m. at City Hall. Agenda items including finalizing budget and funding requests.

• The City of Monroe Ad Hoc Building & Grounds Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall. Agenda items include discussing a plan of action.

• The Monroe School District Finance Committee will meet at 6 p.m. at Northside Elementary. Agenda items include a walk-through at Northside followed by the Virtual School, Parkside Elementary, Charter School and DAC.

• The Albany Village Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Village Hall. Agenda items include Resolution 08-09: Library Tax.

• The Argyle School District Board will meet at 7 p.m. at the High School library. Agenda items include academic improvement strategies status.

• The Albany School District Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the school library. Agenda items include approval of 66.0301 agreement with Monroe School District.

• The Black Hawk School District Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the Library in South Wayne. Agenda items include 66.031 Agreement with Monroe.

• The Monroe School District Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the District Administrative Center. Agenda items include support staff resignations.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 15

• The City of Monroe Historic Preservation Commission will meet at noon at City Hall. Agenda items include discussing and taking action regarding whether COAs are required for roof units, such as air conditioners, furnaces, solar panels and cooling towers.

• The Monroe Downtown Business Improvement District Board of Directors will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the courthouse basement conference room. Agenda items include a public hearing on the BID 2010 operating plan and BID objectives and boundaries/survey comments.

• The Monticello School District MESS Negotiation Committee will meet at 6 p.m. at the high school library. Agenda items include a closed session for collective bargaining with the Monticello educational support staff.

• The Village of New Glarus Personnel/Finance Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the village hall board room. Agenda items include consideration of village claims.

• The City of Monroe Salary and Personnel Committee will meet at 6:45 p.m. at City Hall. Agenda items include a closed session to discuss strategy for contract negotiations with unions.

• The Village of New Glarus Informational Administrative Committee will meet at 7 a.m. at the village hall. Agenda items include review and discussion of 9/24/ Plan Commission agenda.

• The Monroe Main Street Organization Committee will meet at 12:30 p.m. at Wisconsin Community Bank, 2nd floor. Agenda items include 2010 work plan and budget.

• The City of Monroe Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 5 p.m. at City Hall. Agenda items include a request for a variance at 1323 23rd St.

• The City of Monroe Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners will meet at 5:15 p.m.. at the community center. Agenda items include determine use of 2009 Reasa funds.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 17

• The Monticello School District Building and Grounds Committee will meet at 11 a.m. in the district office. Agenda items include reviewing building maintenance needs.

• The Town of Monroe Board will meet at 7 p.m. at the town hall. Agenda items include the county referendum on a Pleasant View tax levy.
