The Green County Agriculture and Education Committee will meet at 12:30 p.m. at the Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th St., Monroe. Agenda items include UW Extension educator reports and review and approval of 2020 County-UW Extension contract.

The New Glarus Public LIbrary Board of Trustees will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the New Glarus Village Hall Board Room, 319 2nd St., New Glarus. Agenda items include discussion and consideration of library building project and of 2020 library closing dates.


Thursday, November 7

The City of Monroe Senior Citizens Board will meet at 3:30 p.m. at the Behring Senior Center, 1113 10th St., Monroe. Agenda items include the building engineering study and the computer registration program.

The City of Monroe Ad Hoc Fire Department Review Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers, 1110 18th Ave., Monroe. Agenda items include closed session review of information regarding allegations made by firefighters against the Fire Chief and Deputy Chief, and open session discussion and potential action.

The Lafayette County Audit Committee will meet at 8 a.m. in the Lafayette County Clerk’s Office, 626 Main St., Darlington. Agenda items include discussion and possible action on audit of county bills.

The Pecatonica Rail Transit Commission will hold a special meeting at 9:45 a.m. at the Dane County Highway Garage, 2302 Fish Hatchery Rd., Madison. Agenda items include discussion and action on Wisconsin Power and Light utility crossing application in Clarno Township.

The Lafayette County Planning and Zoning Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the Lafayette County Courthouse- UW Extension Lobby, 627 Washington St., Darlington. Agenda items include discussion and possible action on a public hearing regarding a special exception/variance and on a land division ordinance violation.


Thursday, November 14

The Green County Pleasant View Nursing Home Committee will meet at 10 a.m. in the lower level conference room of Pleasant View Nursing Home, N3150 WI-81, Monroe. Agenda items include the operations and the financial report.

The Town of Sylvester Public Annual Budget Meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the Sylvester Town Hall, N4505 Wis. 59, Albany. It will be followed by the regular monthly meeting.
