The Black Hawk School Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the Black Hawk Schools library. 

The Darlington Community School Board will hold a special school board meeting at 6 p.m. in the board meeting room at Darlington Elementary/Middle School. Agenda items include certification of school board candidates and drawing of ballot order for the spring election. 

The Green County Highway Committee will meet at 9 a.m. at the Green County Highway Department, 2813 6th St. Agenda items include discussion and possible action on speed reduction on County N at the Iliff Road intersection and  

Tuesday, January 14

The Green County Law Enforcement Committee and Public Safety Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Green County Sheriff’s training/meeting office. Entrance is located in the back of the sheriff’s department. Agenda items include a review and updates on the radio system and non-lapsing funds for the 2020 budget.

The Lafayette County Human Services Board will meet at 4:45 p.m. at the human services office, 15701 County K, Darlington. Agenda items include discussion on the county organizational structure for juvenile intake function  and program updates. 

The Green County Board of Supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. in the Green County Courthouse. Agenda items include a presentation from Blackhawk Technical College on the Public Safety and Transportation Training Center Project and the consideration of a resolution to approve human services contracts. 

Wednesday, January 15

The Green County Human Services Board will meet at 1:45 p.m. in the Government Services Building, second floor conference room 207. Agenda items include a closed session beginning at 2:05 p.m. to audit client bills for payment.

The Lafayette County Human Services Commission on Aging Advisory Committee will meet at 1 p.m. in the Aging & Disability Resource Center, 15701 County K, Darlington. Agenda items include guest program from Cecile McManus, the director of Seniors United for Nutrition and monthly program and fiscal reports.

Thursday, January 16

The Lafayette County Manor/Hospital Committee will meet at 3 p.m. in the MHLC Conference Room. Agenda items include a Wipfli presentation for MHLC and Lafayette Manor. 

The Green County Development Corporation Board of Directors will meet at 7:30 a.m. in the Green County Courthouse. Agenda items include staff updates for Small Business Development Center results and a Talent Pipeline Management Update.
