MONDAY, DEC. 7

• The Blanchardville Village License and Finance Committee will meet at 6 p.m. at the village hall. Agenda items include a 2009 budget review and proposed amendments.

• The Monroe City Visitor and Promotion Board will meet at 11:30 a.m. at City Hall. Agenda items include a presentation by Jerry Guth regarding a possible survey on changing the Cheese County Trail, with possible action on a potential funding request.

• The Monroe Main Street Design Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Monroe Public Library. Agenda items include streetscape maintenance.

• The New Glarus School District Personnel/Policy Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the high school library, room 183. Agenda items include an update on procedures for student discipline/expulsion issues.

• The Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Audit Ad Hoc Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the SWWDB administrative office, 1370 N. Water St., Platteville. Agenda items include discussing a 2008-09 management letter and proposed SWWDB administrative response.

TUESDAY, DEC. 8

• The Monroe Downtown Business Improvement District Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Agenda items include a report on BID redistricting efforts.

• The Monroe Main Street Economic Restructuring Committee will meet at 8 a.m. at the Century 21 office. Agenda items include a presentation on Mid-West Food Discovery Center and a discussion of current and future parking and enforcement options.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 9

• The Juda School District Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the district office at the high school. Agenda items include consideration of a two-year track and cross county co-op application with Brodhead.

• The Juda School District Ad Hoc Administrative Search Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the district office. Agenda items include setting up the process for selecting a new administrator.

• The Lafayette County Planning & Zoning Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Ag Center Conference room at the courthouse. Agenda items include a hearing on special exception applications.

• The Monroe City Common Council gives notice that a majority of its members may be present at the groundbreaking ceremony at 2:30 p.m. at the Monroe Clinic, 515 22nd Avenue.

• The Monroe City Plan Commission will meet at 5 p.m. at City Hall. Agenda items include a review and recommendation to council to abandon an easement north of 11th Street by the Water Department.

• The Monticello School District Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the high school band room. Agenda items include a proposed curriculum change for 2010-2011, discontinuing class offerings through the Distance Learning Lab.

• The Monticello School District Finance Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the high school band room. Agenda items include reviewing vouchers.

• The Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board will meet from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Folklore Village Farwell Hall, 3210 County BB, Dodgeville. Agenda items include update on funding and service activities.

THURSDAY, DEC. 10

• The Monroe City Senior Citizens Board will meet at 4:15 p.m. at the Behring Senior Center lobby. Agenda items include action on a donation to fund a veteran's dinner.

• The Monroe School District MEA/BOE negotiations will begin at 5 p.m. in the District Administrative Center, conference room A. Agenda items include a closed session for the purpose of negotiations.
