The Green County Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the county sheriff’s office. Agenda items include training requests and review of jail population and medical issues.

The New Glarus Ad Hoc Facilities Committee will meet at 3 p.m. at Village Hall. Agenda items include discussion of Village Hall reconfiguration options and new building construction costs.

The Green County Health Committee will meet at 5:15 p.m. at the Government Services Building. Agenda items include a webinar on wind turbines and health and a report from the health officer.

The New Glarus Village will hold a public information meeting at 5:30 p.m. at Village Hall. Discussion will highlight a project to reconstruct a portion of 3rd Avenue between 2nd and 6th Street, set to begin spring 2019. 

The New Glarus Parks and Recreation Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Village Hall. Agenda items include review of proposals for ballfield improvement designs and discussion of the 2019 recreation fee schedule. 

The New Glarus Public Works/Public Safety Committee will meet at 7 p.m. at Village Hall. Agenda items include discussion on phosphorus compliance alternatives plan and an update  on utility finances.

Thursday, December 13

The Lafayette County Highway Committee will meet at 8 a.m. in the department conference room. Agenda items include discussion of bridge updates and the infrastructure capitalization policy. 

The Green County Human Services Board Audit Subcommittee will meet at 1 p.m. in the second-floor conference room of the Government Services Building. Agenda items include bill audits and closed session audit of client-specific bills for payment. 

The Monroe Senior Citizens Board will meet at 3:30 p.m. at Behring Senior Center. Agenda items include a presentation from Rob Wheat of OPN Architects on a feasibility study and an update to 2019 trip policies.

The Lafayette County Planning and Zoning Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the UW-Extension lobby of the county courthouse. Agenda items include a public hearing for internet company Bug Tussel for a conditional use permit and a discussion of the county land division ordinance rewrite.

Friday, December 14

The Lafayette County Audit Committee will meet at 8 a.m. in the county clerk’s office. Agenda items include audit of county bills. 

The Green County Auditing, Bonding & Claims Committee will meet at 10 a.m. in the finance conference room of the county courthouse. Agenda items include closed session audit of client-specific bills for payment and open session audit of bills and claims.

Thursday, December 20

The Lafayette County Economic Development Committee will meet at 7 p.m. at the county courthouse Extension office. Agenda items include overview of grants training and a progress report on the county guide.
