The Green County Agriculture and Extension Education Committee will meet at 12:30 p.m. in the Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th St., Monroe. Agenda items include discussion on the future of the health and well being educator and review of the July/August bills.

The Village of New Glarus Public Library Board of Trustees will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the village hall board room, 319 2nd Ave. Agenda items include the concept and budget report for the library building project and discussion and consideration regarding the library hot spot lending policy.


Thursday, August 8

The Lafayette County Highway Committee will meet at 8 a.m. in the highway department conference room. Agenda items include a report on the overtime in July and discussion and possible action on bridge, equipment and employee updates.

The Green County Land and Water Conservation Committee will meet at 10 a.m. in the USDA Service Center Conference Room, 1627 4th Ave. West, Monroe. Agenda items include a staff resignation and an educational demonstration.

The Lafayette County Finance Committee will meet at 8 a.m. in the Lafayette County Courthouse County Board Room. Agenda items include discussion and possible action regarding consideration of a resolution for modification of real estate tax collection.

The Green County Law Enforcement Public Safety Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Green County Sheriff’s Training/Meeting Office. Agenda items include a review of EMS updates and a review and updates on the radio system.

The Lafayette County Planning & Zoning Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the Lafayette County Courthouse UW-Extension lobby. Agenda items include discussion and possible action on the creation of a wind ordinance and a report from the department head.

The Wisconsin River Rail Transit Commission will meet at 10 a.m. at the Dane County Highway Garage, 2302 Fish Hatchery Road, Madison. Agenda items include Wisconsin & Southern Railroad’s report on operations and discussion regarding Hatchery Road, Spring Grove, Illinois.
