The Lafayette County Land Conservation Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the USDA Service Center. Agenda items include job evaluations.

The Green County Agriculture and Extension Committee will meet at 12:30 p.m. at the Green County Justice Center. Agenda items include a closed-session discussion for 4-H and Youth Educator interviews.

The Town of Monroe Open Book will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at town hall. The 2014 Tax Roll will be available for inspection, and personnel from the assessors office will be available to answer questions on the assessment of properties.

The Lafayette County Building and Insurance Committee will meet at 4:30 p.m. at the courthouse. Agenda items include discussion and possible action regarding the demolition and replacement of exterior tile entry at Lafayette County Courthouse.

The City of Monroe Judiciary and Ordinance Review Committee will meet at 6:15 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include discussion and possible action on establishing a multiple installment payment option for real property taxes.

The City of Monroe Finance and Taxation Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include consideration of lease options for 2014 capital purchases.

The Village of New Glarus Personnel/Finance Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at village hall. Agenda items include a discussion/recommendation on 2015 wages for budget preparation.

The Village of New Glarus Board will meet at 7 p.m. at village hall. Agenda items include a discussion and consideration of the direction for moving forward with the library location.

The City of Monroe License Committee will meet at 7:15 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include a recommendation on a temporary class B beer license for Green County Agriculture and Mechanics Institute.

The City of Monroe Common Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the city hall. Agenda items include a discussion on the future of the downtown parking ramp.



Wednesday, August 6

The Green County Council on Housing and Homelessness Prevention will meet at 9 a.m. at the Green County Justice Center. Agenda items include guest speaker, Nancy Jensen, of the Apartment Association of South Central Wisconsin.

The City of Monroe Housing Authority Board will meet at 5 p.m. at the Churchill Woods Apartments. Agenda items include FYE reporting results.



Friday, August 8

The Town of Monroe Special Voting Deputies will be at Pleasant View Nursing Home at 10:30 a.m. to assist any residents who wish to vote absentee.



Saturday, August 9

The City of Monroe gives notice that a majority of members of the city's Common Council, committees and boards may be present for the open house from noon to 4 p.m. at the Monroe Municipal Airport new terminal. No official city business will be transacted.



Friday, August 15

The Audit Subcommittee of the Green County Human Services Board will meet at 2 p.m. at the Government Services Building. Agenda items include a closed-session discussion to audit client-specific bills for payment.



Tuesday, August 26

The Town of Monroe Board of Review will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at town hall.
